On any so-called "dimmable" bulb, the package should be required to state which type of dimmers it works with. I'm so tired of buying "dimmable" LED bulbs only to find out that they don't work in my porch lights. With incandescents gone and now halogen is gone, I am left high and dry. I miss when things just "worked". The green new deal is a bunch of baloney.

Vast majority of restaurants have too much blue light. They think a well lit restaurant is amazing. So many crappy lit joints i have seen. They forget localized lighting on table. Candlelight. Fireplaces. Wall lighting. They go for crude overhead lighting that is blue

Most LED fixture manufacturer’s will publish a list of compatible dimmers by make and model number, and even denote dimming range. I believe LED light bulb manufacturers who sell bulbs that operate at 120 or higher voltages publish a list of compatible dimmers. These dimmer compatibility lists should be located on LED fixture and bulb manufacturer’s website where you can download a spec sheet or data sheet for particular fixture or bulb.

So "How the TB Series works" is more of a mechanical description (duh, you turn it on) than a description of the effectiveness of this method of reducing airborne pathogens? A little low-brow if you ask me. As viruses and bacteria are generally a bit heavier than air, their largest concentration would be closer to the floor unless the HVAC system was designed to circulate it efficiently. During a heating season, this generally happens due to natural convection, but in cooling seasons the opposite is true. Even in a cooler climate, you'd be better served by an in-duct UVC system.

Is the color change linear between yellow, orange, pink, and mauve? If I was to examine the color of the central circle with my spectrophotometer and get Spin and Spex values and then compare with the outer colors, could I quantify the actual UV dose received? I have a spectroradiometer that is sensitive around 254nm, but I don't have the probe for it that is sensitive to 260-280nm that I need for evaluating my UVC LEDs. These cards could be a nice solution for me if I could correlate UV dose to measured spectrophotometric data.

Hi there! So what's the difference in how electricity flows in a shunted and non-shunted socket? In a non-shunted socket, will there sometimes be a hot and neutral wire connected to the same tombstone? I have a non-shunted tombstone, but it has two hot wires connected to it. Just trying to figure out how that's different from a single hot wire going to a shunted tombstone.
